A place for random projects that don’t fit anywhere else.

This page is to briefly highlight projects that don’t quite fit into any of the other categories in the portfolio, or are minor enough that they don’t need their own page. Either way, these projects are still quite interesting to me and still deserve to be recorded.

  • Purpleheart and Pecan Dice Box

A magnetic dice box that holds an assortment of gaming dice. It closes magnetically as is finished in boiled linseed oil (BLO). This is one of the many projects I’ve done as part of my woodworking hobby.

  • PWM controller for Donut Racing

This little device controls several motors and communicates to a Jetson computer onboard a miniature autonomous racing vehicle. It contains a socket for the Teensy microcontroller that powers it, as well as several encoder ports.

  • RepRap Huxley 3D Printer

This project dates all the way back to 2011, at the very beginning of the hobbyist 3D printing revolution. I built this 3D printer out of a kit based on research from the RepRap Project to design self-replicating printers.
